Re and Sons is a family-owned Smallgoods manufacturer located in Malaga. We produce a range of quality bacon, ham and continental smallgoods. We are seeking an experienced Smallgoods Maker to join our team on a full time basis.

Role

You will be involved with the preparation, production and processing of a range of smallgoods, whilst meeting high standards of food safety, quality and presentation.

Key Duties

- Prepare, produce and process smallgoods products including sausages, cured meats, and other processed meat products
- Select, prepare and handle meat products in accordance with food safety requirements
- Operate smallgoods processing equipment and maintain a clean and hygienic production environment
- Perform meat preparation duties including trimming, cutting, boning and portioning as required
- Applying knowledge of meat quality, product specifications and production processes
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety and food safety standards




- Support general butcher operations as required

Selection Criteria

- Demonstrated experience working as a Smallgoods Maker within a commercial butcher shop or meat processing environment.
- Solid knowledge of smallgoods production methods and meat preparation techniques.
- Experience with knife handling, trimming, boning and general butcher duties.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and hygiene standards.
- Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated industry experience.

Work Conditions

- You will be working in a chiller environment.
- You will undertake some heavy lifting.
- You will be starting at 6am.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
