Are you creative, great with people and naturally good at social media?

We're looking for a friendly, outgoing and creative person to join our team in a hands-on role combining social media and game hosting.

We're a young, close-knit team, and like most small businesses, we all wear a few different hats. We support each other, pitch in when something needs doing and have a lot of fun along the way!

A big part of this role is taking care of our social media. We're not looking for a marketing expert. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves social media, is naturally creative and already knows how to create fun and hilarious viral content.

You need to be able to take great photos and videos, edit a reel, and, importantly, have your own ideas about what would make good content for an escape room. Hint: aesthetic videos are not our vibe.

But this role is just as much about people.

You'll spend a lot of your time when you are not creating and scheduling content, hosting teams in their escape room experience! So, you need to genuinely enjoy talking to people, and care about creating a really fun and memorable experience for our teams. It is important that you have a LOT of confidence and are full of energy!

THE ROLE

This is a casual position located in Hindmarsh. There is free parking onsite.

Hours can be negotiated but will be around 10-15 hours a week.

For the right person, we can adjust the days and times slightly to fit around your uni schedule.

- Set shift Wednesday and/or Thursday afternoon - night.




- As rostered on Friday and/or Saturday.

SOCIAL MEDIA

You'll

- Maximise exposure through the creation of engaging content on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
- Drive growth and engagement on all social media platforms
- Liaise with social influencers and other local businesses to increase social exposure
- Monitor social media and marketing metrics and analytics to ensure benchmarks are achieved
- Help create escape room props
- Undertake administrative duties
- Respond to all emails whether they be enquiries or liaising with customers to organise and facilitate events (team building, birthday parties, bucks/hens shows)

GAMES HOSTING

You'll

- Brief teams and facilitate their escape room experience
- Create a fun and personalised experience for teams through banter and outstanding communication skills
- Serve drinks at our fun bar when needed (will be required to get RSA if not already attained)
- Reset the rooms in a timely manner, ensuring you have a robust attention to detail

And because we're a small team, sometimes you'll simply help with whatever needs doing. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This role is ideal for current university students who are studying marketing, communications or have a passion in social media.

Pay: $27.00 – $59.14 per hour
