As a Software Developer at MVSI, you will play a critical role in the end-to-end engineering lifecycle of our core SaaS applications. Working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, you will be responsible for everything from initial system research and architectural design through to clean coding, rigorous testing, and continuous deployment.

Operating within our modern full-stack ecosystem (Material UI, React, Node.js, and MongoDB), you will design, build, and maintain features for the MVSI OnBoard platform, ranging from targeted UI/UX enhancements to groundbreaking, LLM-powered compliance modules. In this position, you will bridge the gap between complex regulatory requirements and technical execution, engineering secure, and highly scalable digital solutions that safeguard sensitive global data.

Duties

Duties include but are not limited to:

● System Design & Architecture: Research, consult, and evaluate technical requirements to design scalable software architecture for new features and groundbreaking modules on the MVSI OnBoard platform.

● Full-Stack Development: Write clean, testable, and maintainable code across the full stack (React/Node.js), ensuring software meets strict data integrity, quality, and performance standards.

● API & Integration Engineering: Design, develop, and implement secure integrations with third-party APIs, financial data services, and emerging LLM frameworks.

● Testing & Quality Assurance: Create, modify, and execute comprehensive software testing procedures, utilising unit and integration tests to identify inefficiencies and ensure ultimate reliability before deployment.

● Security & Compliance Coding: Implement robust software security principles, access capitals,



and data privacy protocols to protect high-stakes AML/KYC compliance data.

● System Maintenance & Diagnostics: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system faults, optimising database queries (MongoDB) and application infrastructure for maximum uptime.

● Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to translate business rules into technical specs. Write clear technical documentation to support system maintenance and future upgrades.

● Mentorship & Best Practices: Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and mentor junior team members to help elevate engineering standards across the group.

Requirements

● Education: A relevant Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline, or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu.

● Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience working as a Full Stack Engineer or Software Engineer.

● Frontend Tech: Solid proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, specifically React (Vue or Angular also highly regarded).

● Backend & Databases: Proven experience with Node.js/NestJS and database technologies (specifically MongoDB or PostgreSQL).

● Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with AWS environments,



containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and managing automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.

● Domain Knowledge: A strong understanding of software security principles. Experience in Fintech, Regtech, or high-security SaaS product development is a massive bonus.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
