Barayamal is seeking a volunteer Software Engineer, Platform to support First Nations entrepreneurship and community programs. This unpaid role is remote within Australia, and applicants should currently live in Australia. Tasks are agreed around your availability; there are no fixed shifts or minimum hours.

- Build and improve small platform features.
- Fix bugs, write tests and improve documentation.
- Review code and share technical advice with other volunteers.
- Help make our tools useful for First Nations entrepreneurs, volunteers and program participants.

What would help

- Software development or equivalent project experience; 2+ years is preferred, not essential.
- Familiarity with Git, testing, documentation and collaborative tools.
- Transparent communication, reliability and respect for First Nations-led work.
