Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, implement and maintain software applications based on business and technical requirements.

- Analyse user requirements and translate them into technical specifications and software solutions.

- Write clean, productive, scalable and maintainable code using relevant programming languages and frameworks.

- Develop and maintain web applications, enterprise applications, APIs and software systems.

- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.

- Collaborate with software developers, architects, QA engineers, project managers and other stakeholders.

- Develop, integrate and maintain backend services, frontend components, databases and application interfaces as required.

- Perform debugging, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to resolve technical issues.

- Conduct code reviews and follow software development best practices and coding standards.

- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests and other testing activities to ensure software quality.





- Work with relational and non-relational databases to manage, retrieve and optimise data.

- Support application deployment, system integration and production releases.

- Monitor application performance, reliability, security and scalability.

- Identify opportunities to improve existing software systems, development processes and technical efficiency.

- Collaborate with DevOps, cloud and infrastructure teams for deployment, automation and system maintenance where applicable.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, software specifications and development records.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, sprint planning, technical discussions and project reviews.

- Ensure software solutions meet business requirements, technical standards and applicable security requirements.

- Provide technical support, enhancements and maintenance for existing applications.

- Assist junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing and technical improvement initiatives where required.
