About the role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer – Web, Mobile & FinTech Platform to join our engineering team at Quikky Move in Hume, ACT 2620. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge web and mobile applications, as well as financial technology solutions that power our platform. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that are both robust and user-friendly.

This role is integral to our mission of delivering exceptional digital experiences to our customers and will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge features to life.

Key responsibilities

- Design and develop full-stack web applications using modern technologies and frameworks
- Build and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
- Develop and integrate financial technology (FinTech) features, including payment processing, transaction management, and security protocols
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with product managers,



designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of code quality and development processes
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications to ensure reliability and scalability
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovations that enhance our platforms
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy for web and mobile platforms

What we're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated expertise in web and/or mobile development
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, Swift, or Kotlin
- Experience with contemporary web frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar technologies
- Hands-on experience developing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms
- Familiarity with FinTech concepts, payment gateways, or financial systems integration (preferred but not essential)
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git




- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of software security best practices and compliance standards, especially relevant to FinTech
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is advantageous
