As Transport Systems Officer, you will support the day-to-day operations of Council's Visitor Pay Parking Scheme, including processing permit applications, responding to phone enquiries, managing Customer Service Requests and Content Manager workflows, and assisting customers who walk into Council's Katoomba Headquarters. You will help maintain accurate permit system records, assist with the development of policies and procedures, and provide support to the Transport Systems Program Leader across parking scheme developments and the Bus Management System.



You will also contribute to collecting and organising transport systems data to support ongoing service improvements and reporting.

You will have strong customer service and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. Experience with permit or booking systems, attention to detail, and confidence in handling phone, in-person and written enquiries are essential. Local government experience is desirable.

While this is a full-time position, part time arrangements may be considered for the right candidates.

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $73,596 gross per annum
+ 12% superannuation
+ annual performance-based salary increases / bonus (1-3.5%)
+ annual award increase
