Summary

CabLab Pty Ltd is seeking two qualified Level 2 / Grade A Electricians for fixed‑term contract roles supporting our solar panel testing and tagging program . You’ll work on‑site at regional solar farms performing IV curve testing , wet‑leak testing , and compliance verification. This position suits licensed electricians experienced in solar PV systems who can travel to regional sites and work night shifts.

Responsibilities

1. Connect power supplies to combiners/inverters on PV module strings
2. Verify electrical continuity and ensure compliance with IEC / Australian standards
3. Conduct solar panel testing and tagging, including IV curve and wet‑leak testing
4. Support safe night‑time operations at regional solar farm sites
5. Troubleshoot electrical issues during testing

Maintain accurate documentation of electrical work performed

Qualifications

- Level 2 / Grade A Electrician licence (NSW / VIC preferred)
- Experience with solar PV systems
- Solid understanding of DC electrical safety
- Ability to work night shifts (mandatory)
- Ability to travel to regional solar farm sites (essential)
- White Card (preferred)
- CEC Accreditation (optional but advantageous)

Contract Details

- Fixed‑term contract basis only
