Role Description This is a full-time Solicitor role based in Brisbane City, QLD, offered on a hybrid basis with a mix of in-office and work-from-home days. The Solicitor will manage a varied caseload, providing legal advice, drafting and reviewing documents, and representing clients in negotiations and, where appropriate, proceedings. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand their needs, conducting legal research, preparing contracts and other legal instruments, and ensuring matters progress efficiently and in compliance with relevant legislation.

The role also involves collaborating with colleagues on complex matters, maintaining accurate file records, and contributing to internal knowledge-sharing and process improvements.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in general Law, including the ability to interpret legislation, case law, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience or demonstrated capability in Conveyancing and Commercial Real Estate matters,



including property transactions and related documentation.
- Familiarity with Family Law, including client-focused handling of sensitive matters such as separation, parenting arrangements, and property settlements.
- Admitted as a Solicitor in Australia with a current unrestricted practising certificate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple files concurrently, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a client-driven environment.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setting, with strong self-management skills and proficiency in standard legal and office software.
- Experience in compliance-focused or advisory work and a commitment to ethical practice are highly regarded.
