About the Opportunity

Join Australia's largest health system through the NSW Health Deployment Program (NSWHDP) and gain diverse clinical experience across regional, rural, and remote health settings throughout NSW.

We are looking for a Sonographer Cardiac Technologist Grade 2 to provide comprehensive echocardiography services and to work with the other sonographers and medical staff to achieve a high standard of diagnostic and clinical services.

Working on deployments ranging from 2 to 13 weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the flexibility to work for short periods of time, with the opportunity to stay longer and work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

Essential Requirements:

1. Accredited by the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).

2. Postgraduate qualifications in Sonography or qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer and performs Cardiac Sonography.

3. Current drivers’ licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas.



These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.

Additional Information

- This is an NSW Health Category A position. For more information, please refer to the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases policy.
