Tumut Radiology is an independent, clinician-owned practice in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, two hours from Canberra and an hour from Wagga Wagga. We are recruiting an experienced general sonographer.

The work

You will cover the complete general caseload — abdominal and small parts, obstetrics and gynaecology, musculoskeletal, and vascular. In a practice our size you see everything the community brings through the door. The list does not narrow over time.

The part most practices cannot offer

The colleague you are replacing had a free hand to build the way we scan here. We are looking for someone who wants the same. Your view on protocols, equipment, appointment structure and how the list runs will be sought and acted on — not filtered through a committee in another city. Decisions about equipment, rostering, holidays and case mix per day are made in this building, by the people who work in it.

- Confident and competent across general, small parts, O&G;, MSK and vascular
- Comfortable working autonomously and making your own clinical calls
