We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at The Boatshed Restaurant in South Perth.

Set on the Swan River with one of Perth’s most iconic waterfront locations, The Boatshed is entering an exciting new chapter under new ownership. With a refreshed menu, growing trade and plenty of plans ahead, we’re looking for a Sous Chef who wants to be part of that journey.

Working closely with our Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping lead and develop the team while maintaining high standards across food quality, consistency, presentation and service.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being on the tools, takes pride in running a well-organised kitchen and can remain calm and focused during busy services. You’ll assist with ordering, stock and cost control,



preparation and service, food safety, kitchen organisation and the training and development of the wider brigade.

We’re looking for someone with solid experience in quality restaurant kitchens, strong communication and leadership skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Most importantly, we want someone with a positive attitude who takes ownership, supports the people around them and wants to contribute to building a great kitchen culture.
