We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking a variety of authentic Italian dishes, pizzas, and grill items according to our established high standards.Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, portion, and cook menu items quickly and efficiently during busy service periods.

- Maintain strict cleanliness, hygiene, and full compliance with Australian food safety standards.

- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory rotation, and minimize food wastage.

- Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.

- Assist in guiding and training junior kitchen hands or apprentices when required.

What We Are Looking For:





- Proven experience working as a Cook or Chef in a fast-paced commercial kitchen (experience with Italian cuisine)

- Solid understanding of food safety, kitchen hygiene practices, and portion control.

- Solid communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure during peak rush hours.

- Availability to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

- Reliable transport to Wallan.

- Sponsorship available.

Pay: $54,696.32 – $84,466.28 per year
