About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a high-performing Data & Reporting team. This role is responsible for delivering advanced data analysis, reporting, visualisation, and insights that support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

You will work with complex datasets, provide expert analytical advice, and collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted, high-quality data products and actionable insights. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with exceptional stakeholder engagement and data storytelling capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead complex data extraction, transformation, analysis, and visualisation activities.
- Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards, reports, and interactive visualisations using Power BI.
- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide technical expertise and advice on data analytics, reporting, and information management challenges.
- Partner with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to develop trusted and scalable data solutions.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive data quality initiatives and ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting outputs.
- Support organisational reporting requirements through data analysis and insight generation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice adoption across data and reporting functions.
- Mentor and coach team members, sharing knowledge and uplifting analytical capability.
- Manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.





Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 8+ years' experience in Data Analytics, Reporting, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Python
- SQL
- Power BI
- Azure Databricks
- Strong experience in data modelling, data transformation, and analytical problem solving.
- Proven ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
- Experience designing executive dashboards and communicating data through compelling visualisations.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences.
- Experience presenting insights to both senior executives and technical teams.
- Robust mentoring, coaching, and technical leadership capabilities.
- Experience working in complex, data-driven environments with high standards of governance and data quality.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
