We are a leading Australian supplier of traffic safety products, with a strong reputation for quality, reliability and customer service.

As part of our national expansion, we are establishing a new branch in Queensland and are looking for an experienced and commercially driven State Manager to lead the launch and growth of our Queensland operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to build a new operation from the ground up, backed by an established national business.

The Role

As State Manager, you will take ownership of the Queensland business, with responsibility for sales growth, business development, operations, team leadership and overall branch performance. You will play a hands-on role during the establishment phase and progressively build the team and operation as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

- Establish and launch the new Queensland branch.
- Develop and execute a strategy to grow the Queensland market.
- Drive sales, revenue and profitability targets.
- Build relationships with key B2B customers, contractors, builders, resellers and industry partners.
- Identify opportunities across construction, civil infrastructure, commercial, industrial and mining sectors.
- Grow both supply-only and supply-and-installation opportunities.
- Recruit, lead and develop a high-performing Queensland team.
- Oversee day-to-day branch, warehouse, inventory and customer service operations.
- Manage branch budgets, costs,



KPIs and overall financial performance.
- Work closely with head office and interstate branches to support continued national growth.

About You

We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, driven and comfortable taking ownership.

You will ideally have

- Experience as a State Manager, Branch Manager, Sales Manager or senior business development professional.
- A strong track record in B2B sales and business development.
- Experience managing or growing a branch, territory or business unit.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Commercial and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.
- Experience within construction, civil, infrastructure, industrial or mining markets will be highly regarded.
