About the Role

Working as part of our precast manufacturing team as a Steel Fixer, you will be responsible for installing and securing reinforcing steel and mesh for concrete structures according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Pre-tying reinforcement mats (both single, double and mesh) for precast panels, to precast tolerances
- Install grout tubes, cast in plates & ferrules
- Helping install the mats into the preformed panels forms
- Install reinforcement ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other tradespeople.
- Assist with the handling, storage, and movement of steel materials on-site.

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.

Experience

- Construction: 3 years (Preferred)
- steel fixer: 3 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- White Card (Preferred)
