STEM EDUCATOR / FACILITATOR (for Afterschool STEM Clubs and Robotics Clubs)

Casual | Brisbane & Gold Coast | $35–$38 per hour

STEAM Powered Education is looking for enthusiastic and reliable STEM Educators / Facilitators to join our growing team across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

This role is particularly well suited to university students or recent graduates studying Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Education or a related field who are looking for flexible, rewarding casual work.

THE ROLE

As a STEM Educator / Facilitator, you will deliver engaging, hands-on STEM activities for children through:

- School STEM incursions
- Vacation care and OSHC programs
- School holiday workshops
- Robotics and coding activities
- Science and engineering activities
- Special STEM events and workshops

All program materials, equipment and activity guidance are provided.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is:

- Positive, enthusiastic and self-motivated
- A confident and friendly communicator
- Comfortable presenting and facilitating activities with groups of children
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Genuinely interested in STEM and hands-on education
- Currently studying or recently graduated in a STEM, Engineering, Science, Technology, Education or related discipline

REQUIREMENTS




- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence
- Current Blue Card, or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to travel to schools and venues throughout Brisbane and/or the Gold Coast
- ABN preferred but not mandatory
- Previous experience working with children, tutoring, teaching, coaching or facilitating groups is highly regarded, but not essential

PAY & HOURS

$35–$38 per hour, depending on experience and suitability.

This is a casual, flexible position, making it particularly suitable for graduates who want work that fits around study or other commitments.
