About the role

Join Comfresh as a Stock Controller and play a hands-on role in keeping fresh produce moving accurately and efficiently across our South Australian sites. You'll take ownership of maintaining accurate stock levels, supporting inventory tracking and contributing to the smooth flow of packaging, consumables and finished produce, all while gaining practical experience in a fast-paced, perishable-goods environment. This is a multi-site role working across facilities in the northern Adelaide region, so a current driver's licence and the flexibility to travel between sites during the week are essential.

Your day is split between systems and the floor—part of your time will be spent in the inventory/ERP system on stock records, reconciliations and reporting; the rest will be in the coolrooms, packing sheds and warehouse conducting stock checks, cycle counts, investigating discrepancies and making sure stock is rotated and handled correctly.

Key responsibilities

- Monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels across multiple sites
- Performing regular cycle counts and reconciling physical stock with ERP/system records
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies, damaged product, quality rejects and out-of-date stock
- Liaising with growers, procurement, packing, quality and dispatch teams to support timely stock availability
- Tracking and reporting on inventory KPIs (stock turnover, shrinkage, waste, expiry)
- Supporting inbound and outbound logistics by managing stock movements, transfers between sites and allocation to orders
- Maintaining accurate records for traceability of perishable and batch/lot-controlled produce
- Managing packaging and consumables stock to support packing schedules
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and quality requirements (e.g. HACCP, HARPS, Freshcare, GMP) and company standards




- Assisting with stocktakes and preparing audit-ready inventory reports

About you

- Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a stock control, stores, coolroom or warehouse role
- Demonstrated ability to perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory records
- Experience using an ERP or inventory management system (e.g. SAP, NetSuite, Pronto, MYOB Advanced, Radford or similar)
- Solid understanding of FIFO/FEFO principles and stock rotation for perishable goods
- Knowledge of batch/lot traceability and cold chain handling
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Familiarity with food safety requirements such as HACCP, HARPS or Freshcare
- Good communication skills and the ability to work across teams and sites
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel between South Australian sites
