About the role

Join the growing team at DEFRIES INDUSTRIES as a full-time Storperson based in Dandenong South. This quick-paced role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, handling, storage, rotation, and issue of raw materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting sterilisation shipments, and operating materials handling equipment in accordance with company procedures.

This is a full time position and you will be required to work Monday to Friday commencing 6:00am.

What you'll be doing

- Timely receipt and storage of raw materials
- Accuracy of works order picking and material allocation
- Availability of materials to support manufacturing requirements
- Accuracy of stock returns processing
- Reduction in material handling errors
- Effective support of sterilisation shipments and warehouse activities

- Unloading containers.
- Load and unload vans/trucks ensuring goods are secure and undamaged.
- Adhere to all relevant transport, safety and environmental regulations.

What we're looking for

- Current Australian driver's license.
- Current Forklift license.




- Experience in a similar warehousing role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Knowledge of the Warehousing, Storage & Distribution industry.
