Downer has recently been awarded the Integrated Facilities Management contract with Stockland, and we are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team at the Willawong Distribution Centre.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in delivering safe, reliable and high-quality electrical services for our client and the wider community.

What You’ll Do

In this wide-ranging, hands-on role, your key responsibilities will include:

- Perform electrical maintenance, repairs and fault-finding across the site

- Ensure electrical systems and lighting remain safe, compliant and operational

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritising urgent issues that may affect safety or operations

- Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise disruption and reduce hazards

- Install, test and maintain lighting, power outlets, safety switches and other electrical equipment

- Complete all work in accordance with relevant Australian standards and workplace health and safety requirements

What you'll bring:

- A current Queensland Electrical Work Licence

- A Construction White Card, current CPR and LVR certifications,



and a valid driver’s licence

- Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance, fault-finding and repairs

- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, compliance obligations and WHS requirements

- Effective communication, time-management and problem-solving skills

- Willingness to complete the required pre-employment checks, including a National Police Check and medical assessment

- A valid Working with Children Check (mandatory)
