Solve It Plumbing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our team in Parramatta, NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our clients' plumbing systems to the highest standard. As a Maintenance Plumber, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs on residential and commercial plumbing installations. This position is integral to ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding Solve It Plumbing's reputation for excellence in the trade.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct routine maintenance inspections on plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Diagnose plumbing faults using appropriate testing equipment and technical knowledge
- Repair and replace faulty pipes, fixtures, and fittings in accordance with relevant Australian plumbing standards and regulations
- Perform emergency call-outs to address urgent plumbing issues and provide swift solutions
- Install new plumbing fixtures and systems, including taps, toilets, hot water systems, and drainage installations
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work completed and provide customers with clear documentation
- Liaise with customers to understand their plumbing needs and provide qualified advice on maintenance and upgrades
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with WorkCover NSW regulations and Australian Standards
- Maintain tools and equipment in positive working order and manage inventory levels
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues on larger projects as required

What we're looking for

- Current Plumber's License (NSW) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 4 years' experience working as a plumber in residential and commercial settings
- Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and best practices




- Proficiency in diagnosing plumbing faults and implementing effective solutions
- Sound understanding of NSW plumbing codes, regulations, and WorkCover safety requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions on-site
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple appointments
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to customer sites
- Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development and training
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in varied environments and conditions
