Marketing, Communications & Admissions Officer

The Anglican School Googong – Canberra ACT

Specifically, the Marketing, Communications and Admissions Officer will be responsible for maintaining the enrolments, student numbers, departure records and creating and archiving all student files. They will oversee all branding and will be responsible for the coordination of all school events and providing marketing support. The successful applicant will lead specific activities by the development, implementation and monitoring of project plans, marketing activities and coordinate events.

This role is an integral part of the school and will liaise with the parent community, Executive, Teachers and Support staff. As a new role, this position is fluid and will be developed with the skills set of the successful candidate in mind.

Selection Criteria:

Qualification and experience

- Certificate III in Administration or equivalent and relevant work experience
- Strong numerical, keyboard, data entry skills and experience working with the Microsoft Office software suite




- Outstanding customer service and solid communication skills (both telephone and face to face)
- Experience in social media/ website management and publishing.
- The ability to effectively communicate positively with a wide range of stakeholders
- The ability to deal with confidential information in a sensitive and professional manner
- Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and multi-task in a busy environment
- Commitment to team work
- Time management, workflow management and planning skills to ensure deadlines are met
