Foundation Civil & Mining are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Industrial Painting & Blasting Supervisor to become a part of our growing team.
The purpose of this position is to provide in-field leadership and support to workgroups to ensure painting and blasting activities are completed safely, efficiently and to a standard that meets or exceeds the client's requirements.
Key responsibilities
Proven experience supervising teams and coordinating multiple work crews
Drive a strong safety culture through visible leadership, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Lead daily pre-starts and toolbox talks to promote a strong safety culture
Conduct and facililitate risk assessments, including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), prior to the commencement of work and review them regularly for ongoing activities
Complete all relevant QA monitoring, recording and documentation
Demonstrate strong industrial painting experience and technical knowledge in surface preparation, protective coatings and application techniques
Adapt quickly to changing customer requirements and operational priorities
About you
Minimum of 3 years' experience working in an Industrial Painter Blaster role, preferably in the mining, or power generation industries
Painting Qualification - Cert III in Surface Preparation & Coating Application
Construction Induction
High Risk Work Licence - EWP
Work at Heights Certification
Confined Space Certification
Drivers Licence
Ability to read, interpret and understand isometrics, drawings, and specifications
