We’re looking for a passionate and community-minded Newman NightSpace Program Manager to lead thedelivery of our new youth program in EastNewman.

This is a unique opportunity to takea leadership role within a community-focused program, workingalongside young people, families, Elders, Traditional Owners,schools and local organisations to create positive opportunitiesfor young people aged across thecommunity.

You’ll take ownership of theday-to-day delivery and ongoing development of the program, leadinga dedicated team and building solid local partnerships that helpyoung people feel connected, supported andengaged.

This is a part-time position ofapproximately 30 hours per week , withregular evening work required to support the delivery of the NewmanNight Space program, and sometimes on weekends aswell.

- You’ll be earning $128,221 - $138,221 per annum + 12% super (prorata)
- Salarypackaging up to $18,550 per annum (pro rata)

What you’ll be doing

As the Newman Night Space ProgramManager, you’ll be the leader of the program and the team,responsible for ensuring the service operates safely, and toensure achieving positiveoutcomes for vulnerable children and young People in the EastPilbara.

Your role willinclude:

- Lead theday-to-day delivery and continuous improvement of theNewman Night Spaceprogram.
- Lead andsupport the team, including rostering, staff development,training and performance.
- Build strongrelationships with young people, families, Elders,Traditional Owners, schools and communityorganisations.
- Plan andoversee engaging youth activities, events and communityinitiatives that respond to localneeds.
- Monitorprogram outcomes, manage reporting, administration, budgetsand compliancerequirements.
- Promote theprogram within the community and identify opportunities tostrengthen partnerships, funding and serviceoutcomes.
- Ensure theprogram maintains a strong focus on safeguarding, riskmanagement and the safety of youngpeople.

You’ll be great in this roleif you…

- Haveexperience leading a team or program, ideally in youth,community or social services




- Are familiarwith the needs of East Newman and Martu Community.
- Arepassionate about working with young people and supportingpositive outcomes.
- Areorganised, proactive and able to work independently andmanage competingpriorities.
- Have arelevant tertiary qualification and/or remote communityexperience will be highly regarded.
- Haveexperience with program coordination, risk managementand/or communitydevelopment.
- Arecomfortable working regular evening shifts and weekendswhen required.
- Hold acurrent WA C Class Driver’s Licence, Working with ChildrenCheck and National PoliceClearance.
- Hold, or arewilling to obtain, a current Working with ChildrenCheck
- Can providea satisfactory Nationally Coordinated Criminal HistoryCheck
