Exciting opportunity in Western Sydney!

Your new company is a growing organisation in Western Sydney looking to hire a support worker on an ongoing basis.

Your current role will include but will not be limited to:

- Support the NDIS participant to:
- Assess a number of mainstream, community, informal and provider options
- Develop service agreements and create service bookings with preferred provider.
- Arrange for any assessments required to determine the nature and type of funding required.
- Determine the budget for each support type and advise any relevant plan manager about the breakdown of funds.
- Participate in continuous improvement, ensure prompt action and work with management staff in formulating and administering corrective action plans.
- Effectively communicate and maintain relationships with the NDIA.
- Remain up to date with the disabilities-related policies and procedures in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of customers,



their families/carers and the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in disability services, community services, case coordination or a related field.

- Understanding of the NDIS and person-centred support.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Solid organisational and time-management skills.

- Ability to coordinate multiple participants, staff and competing priorities.

- Working with children check and police check (or willingness to obtain one)
