CURA In-Home Care is seeking Support Workers to provide in-person Home Care support to our clients within their homes across Perth metro and surrounding suburbs.

We are currently seeking applicants who can reliably work in or around:

- Mundaring (high priority)
- Midland and East of Midland (high priority)
- Northern Suburbs (multiple locations)
- Southern Suburbs (Fremantle, Melville)

About the role

As a Support Worker with CURA, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients by helping them live safely, independently, and confidently in their own homes and communities.

We currently have casual opportunities available, with the potential for consistent and ongoing hours for the right candidates. This is a great opportunity to build rewarding relationships with clients while enjoying flexibility and the potential for regular work.

Every client is unique, and so is the support we provide. Working in line with each client’s individual care plan, you’ll provide practical assistance, companionship, and encouragement while helping clients stay connected to the people, places, and activities that are important to them.

Your day-to-day may include:

- Providing personal care with dignity, respect, and compassion
- Assisting with household tasks and domestic duties, including basic cleaning
- Meal preparation
- Providing transport to appointments, social activities, and community events
- Offering companionship and social support
- Helping with shopping, errands, and everyday activities
- Supporting clients with mobility and secure movement
- Observing and reporting changes in a client’s health, wellbeing, or circumstances
- Maintaining clear, accurate, and timely progress notes

We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate:





- Confidence working independently in clients’ homes and within the community
- Sound judgement, reliability, and professionalism, including the ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Strong communication skills and the ability to complete clear, accurate documentation
- Good observation skills, with the confidence to recognise changes in a client’s wellbeing and report concerns appropriately
- Consistent availability throughout the year to provide reliable support to our clients
- A respectful and person-centred approach when working with clients, their families, and other members of the care team

Essential requirements To be considered, applicants must have:

- Valid working rights to work in Australia
- Current WA driver’s licence
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to attend in-person shifts across Perth metro and surrounding suburbs
- Willingness to provide personal care, domestic assistance, transport, and social support
- Current or willingness to obtain:

- Police certificate / National Police Check
- First Aid
- CPR
- Current manual handling / safe manual tasks training, or ability to complete this before commencing client-facing shifts involving personal care or mobility support.

Highly regarded

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community Care, or similar
- Previous experience in aged care, home care, community care, personal care, disability support, or a similar support role
- Experience with personal care and mobility support
- Dementia care experience
- Medication assistance experience, where appropriate and within scope
- Strong weekday availability
