About the role

Our Company is seeking a Person between 20-40 years of age. This person must be a passionate and caring Support Worker to join our team in St Marys, NSW. This is a casual position that will see you providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients with disabilities, ensuring they can live independently and with dignity.

What you'll be doing v Providing personal care and support with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation and light housekeeping v Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities and community events v Assisting with mobility, transfers and the use of equipment as needed v Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns v Advocating for clients and collaborating with allied health professionals v Promoting independence, choice and control for our clients v Providing PEG feeding support in accordance with participant support plans, training, and organisational policies v Availability to work a rotating roster including day shifts, afternoon shifts, weekends, public holidays, and inactive sleepover shifts

What we're looking for v Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care or a related field is a must for this position.

v Experience in providing person-centred support to people with disabilities, mental health conditions or complex needs v Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients v Patience, empathy and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others v A current driver's licence and your own vehicle (desirable)





v This position requires a High Physical Support Person v A positive, solution-focused attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
