About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Surveyor to join our project delivery team. This is a hands-on role providing surveying support across our civil infrastructure projects, working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and Subcontractors to ensure works are accurately set out, verified and delivered in accordance with project requirements. The role offers the opportunity to work across technically challenging civil projects while taking ownership of surveying activities from initial set-out through to as-built documentation and project completion.

Key responsibilities

- Perform construction set-out for civil and infrastructure works
- Establish, maintain and verify survey control networks and benchmarks
- Undertake detailed, topographic and engineering surveys
- Complete level surveys, calculations and quantity measurements
- Verify line, level, position and dimensions of constructed works
- Conduct as-built surveys and prepare accurate survey records
- Review construction drawings, specifications and design information
- Identify and communicate survey discrepancies or potential construction issues to the project team
- Assist Project Engineers and Supervisors with technical and site information




- Coordinate surveying requirements with subcontractors and project stakeholders

About you

- A qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science or a related discipline
- Previous surveying experience within civil construction or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and survey plans
- Experience with modern surveying equipment, including total stations, GNSS/GPS and digital levels
- Experience with relevant surveying and CAD software
- Strong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to survey accuracy
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Engineers, Supervisors and site teams
- Ability to manage priorities across an active construction workplace
- Current Australian driver's licence
