Forrestania Resources is progressing several open‑pit gold mining hubs across Western Australia as we move toward production. To support our operational readiness and development activities, we are seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to join our growing technical team.

This role offers flexibility to work FIFO 8:6 from Perth or Kalgoorlie‑based, depending on your lifestyle and preference.

About the Role The Mine Surveyor will provide accurate, timely survey support across our open‑pit gold hubs, ensuring spatial control, compliance and efficient execution of mine plans. You’ll work closely with geology, mine planning and operations, contributing to safe, precise and productive mining activities.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and being part of a small, capable team in a growing ASX‑listed gold company.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver all open‑pit survey requirements including pickups, set‑outs, dig lines and mark‑ups.
- Conduct end‑of‑month surveys, volume calculations and statutory reporting.
- Maintain survey databases, plans and compliance records.
- Operate and manage GPS, total station, UAV and laser scanning equipment.
- Support mine planning with accurate spatial data and timely updates.




- Work across multiple gold hubs, ensuring consistent survey standards.
- Contribute to safe mining practices through precise control of designs and boundaries.

About You

- Experience as a Mine Surveyor in open‑pit mining (gold highly regarded).
- Strong capability with up-to-date survey hardware and software (Leica, Trimble, Maptek, Deswik).
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites with changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions‑focused mindset.
- WA Authorised Mine Surveyor (or working toward authorisation) preferred.
- Comfortable working FIFO 8:6 or Kalgoorlie residential.

- Trimble R10 base and rover
- Trimble TSC5 controller

Software (outside the Microsoft suite)
