we are seeking a full-time Syndication Producer based at the News Corp Centre in Surry Hills to work alongside Digital News Producers. In this role, you will be responsible for compiling and distributing digital news and On-Demand videos across News24's extensive online network, including our News24.com.au streaming service and the international subscription platform, Australia Channel. You will take initiative to work autonomously, demonstrate a keen interest in high-quality journalism, and drive the growth of News24's output in both quantity and quality.

About The Role

- Compile short bulletins ready for distribution.
- Use video editing software, specifically FLX.
- Execute efficient proofreading.
- Compile and distribute digital news and On-Demand videos across News24's extensive online network, including the News24.com.au streaming service, the international subscription platform Australia Channel, and podcasts.
- Identify newsworthy opinion and interview content from television channels and ensure it is delivered to our online audience quickly and accurately to drive this content into the news cycle.
- Work flexible hours, including irregular hours, unpredictable shifts, and regular weekend work to meet the demands of a 24-hour newsroom

- You are a recent journalism graduate suited for this entry-level position.
- You have a positive attitude with an enthusiasm for learning recent skills.
- You have the ability to work unsupervised, adhere to tight deadlines, and remain composed under pressure.
- You possess excellent time management and organisational skills, alongside a high level of attention to detail.
- You are technically savvy with a strong ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- You have a keen interest in news, politics, and current events.
