About the Role The Systems Specialist will bridge business needs and technology solutions. They will ensure effective governance, administration and oversight of assigned systems, ensuring they remain compliant, fit for purpose and aligned with Accelagen’s project and business needs.

The role provides system subject matter expertise (SME), manages user access and training, supports project-specific activities, resolves system issues, monitors system performance and metrics, and partners with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and business growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct and record e-system periodic review of assigned user permissions to maintain currency
- Develop and maintain system training materials, job aids, and/or user guides.
- Organise, facilitate and document required training of system users (where applicable).
- Act as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding system-related queries and issues.
- Coordinate communication of system changes, updates, outages, known issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Compile system reports for the Executive Leadership Team and Heads of Departments, adapting content to reflect stakeholder requirements and feedback.
- Promptly identify and escalate critical issues affecting assigned systems and/or Accelagen project deliverables, proposing practical options for resolution.




- Conduct periodic review of systems to ensure they remain fit for purpose and implement mitigation strategies for any risks or issues identified.

Qualifications & Experience

- Life Sciences, Pharmacy, RN qualified or other technical qualification.
- Previous experience working in Pharmaceuticals, Clinical Research Organisations or Clinical Trial focused healthcare is preferable.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of clinical work (SS) or 5 years (Senior SS) of clinical work (including 2 years of system superuser experience or SS equivalent role) within a CRO.
- Experience with clinical system platforms (CTMS/TMF/LMS). E.g., Veeva Vault, Medidata, Trial Interactive, Salesforce is preferred.
- Experience with operational systems within a company, e.g., HubSpot, Sales Force, Smartsheet, MS Office is preferred.
- Prior experience as assigned system superuser either in a clinical or operational electronic system is preferable.
