About the opportunity

Civitas Talent is partnering exclusively with Castle Group - a fast-growing, founder-led business scaling across property, data centres and industrial energy - to appoint their first dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner. This is a genuine ground-floor opportunity to build a talent function from scratch in a business with real momentum.

About the role

Reporting to the HR Manager, this is a standalone, build-and-run role. You'll do two things brilliantly: proactively source and fill roles across specialised infrastructure, engineering and energy markets, and build the engine behind hiring - frameworks, systems, employer brand and process - so the business scales with quality. It's equal parts hands-on recruiter and strategic builder.

What you'll do

- Proactively source and fill roles across technical and leadership positions
- Build capability frameworks and support workforce planning as the business grows
- Establish Employment Hero as the talent database - templates, workflows, pipelines
- Create a standout employer brand and candidate experience
- Bring structure to hiring: competency-based interviews, assessment and psychometrics
- Introduce smart, AI-enabled sourcing and automation to lift hiring speed and quality




- Manage agency relationships and commercial terms with a sharp commercial eye

What you'll bring

- 5+ years in talent acquisition or recruitment, ideally including a standalone or lead role
- A proactive, direct-sourcing mindset - you go and find talent, you don't wait for applications
- Experience building frameworks, processes or employer-brand initiatives
- Comfort in a lean, founder-led setting where you own outcomes
- Technology and AI literacy, matched by genuine commercial savvy
- ATS experience (Employment Hero a plus)
