The Opportunity
Our client is a global manufacturing business backed by one of the world's leading private equity firms. It's investing in the growth of its Australian operations.
This senior commercial role has real influence. You'll partner with closely sales, procurement, supply chain and the senior leadership team, and your insights will directly shape pricing, tenders and profitability. It comes with a strong salary, a bonus and excellent employee benefits.

The Challenge
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

- Review and analyse all customer pricing, and build robust models and profitability projections for tender proposals
- Analyse financial performance against budget and forecast, providing insightful commentary to senior stakeholders




- Conduct deep-dive analysis of trade, market and operational data to find opportunities to maximise margin across the profit pool
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flow
- Assess and report on sales performance, identifying improvements in range and profitability
- Partner with procurement, supply chain, operations, R&D; and sales to drive profit opportunities in pricing, product, promotions, packaging and trade strategy

The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
- 5+ years' experience in Revenue Management, Category Management or Commercial Finance
- FMCG experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel, plus strong PowerPoint skills
- Experience with Dynamics AX and/or SAP highly regarded
- A collaborative style and the confidence to influence stakeholders across multiple functions
