Our client is a highly respected and long-established mid-tier chartered accounting and advisory practice located in Sydney's CBD. Renowned for delivering tailored business, taxation and advisory solutions, the firm works closely with privately owned businesses, family groups, high-net-worth individuals and international clients.

Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Services Senior Manager to join the leadership team and play a key role in managing client relationships, mentoring staff and driving advisory outcomes.

The Opportunity

This is an ideal role for a commercially astute accounting professional seeking a genuine leadership position within a collaborative and client-focused environment.

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients while leading and developing a high-performing team. The role offers significant exposure to complex advisory matters and the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of private business, family group and high-net-worth clients




- Build and maintain trusted adviser relationships with key stakeholders
- Review financial statements, income tax returns and related compliance work
- Provide strategic taxation, business and accounting advice
- Assist clients with business structuring, asset protection and succession planning initiatives
- Identify opportunities to deliver additional advisory services and value-added solutions
- Lead client meetings and oversee engagement delivery
- Manage workflow, quality control and team performance
- Mentor, coach and develop Managers, Supervisors and Accountants
- Support Directors on complex projects and business development initiatives

About You

To be considered, you will possess:

- CA qualification (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience within a chartered accounting or business advisory environment
- Proven experience managing complex client portfolios
- Strong technical knowledge across taxation, accounting and business services
- Demonstrated leadership and people management capability
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, commercially focused approach to client service
- The ability to identify opportunities and deliver practical business solutions
