An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Payroll Manager to join the head office of a rapidly growing national retail business based in Maroochydore.

n

With a large workforce across Australia and New Zealand and continued growth ahead, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of payroll, improving processes and working within a fast-paced, people-focused business.

You will take responsibility for the end-to-end payroll function across Australia and New Zealand, while leading and developing a small payroll team.

The Role n

Reporting into senior finance leadership, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing end-to-end payroll across Australia and New Zealand
n
- Overseeing payroll for a large, multi-site workforce
n
- Leading and supporting a small payroll team
n
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls
n
- Managing superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax and statutory obligations
n
- Ensuring compliance with relevant awards, legislation and employment requirements
n
- Managing payroll reporting, reconciliations and month-end requirements
n
- Working closely with Finance, HR and operational teams
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes, systems and controls
n




- Supporting the business as it continues to grow and evolve
n

About You n

We are looking for an experienced payroll professional who is confident taking ownership of a complex payroll environment.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Strong end-to-end payroll experience
n
- Previous experience managing or leading a payroll function
n
- Experience within a multi-site or high-volume environment
n
- Robust knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and compliance
n
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
n
- Strong systems capability
n
- A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to get involved
n
- Experience with New Zealand payroll will be highly regarded
n
