About our role: We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely financial support.
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
- Reviewing and resolving AP exception invoices, invoice discrepancies, and payment enquiries.
- Performing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving outstanding items.
- Processing weekly and monthly payment runs and employee expense reimbursements.
- Maintaining supplier master data and supporting effective vendor management practices.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls.
- Providing support to payroll activities and assisting with payroll processing as required.
- Assisting with month-end, EOFY, and audit processes.
- Working closely with internal teams and suppliers to resolve account and payment issues.
- Providing general administrative and ad hoc support to the Finance team.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment.
- Pronto and RedMap experience highly desirable
- Proven payroll processing experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, “can-do” attitude.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug screening
- Ability to provide a national police certificate
