- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and discuss patients’ health concerns, symptoms and treatment goals.

- Develop individualised treatment plans based on the patient’s needs and clinical presentation.

- Provide acupuncture treatments using sterile, single-use needles at selected points on the body.

- Use complementary techniques where appropriately trained, such as cupping, moxibustion, electroacupuncture or acupressure.

- Support patients with management of conditions such as musculoskeletal pain, headaches, stress, sleep difficulties and other suitable health concerns.

- Monitor patient response to treatment and modify treatment plans as required.

- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.

- Provide appropriate health education and lifestyle advice within scope of practice.

- Recognise conditions requiring medical assessment and refer or liaise with GPs and other health professionals when appropriate.

- Maintain high standards of infection prevention, patient safety and skilled conduct.

- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
