Sydney Freezers is a leading food service supplier, delivering to businesses across Greater Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and Canberra.

We supply a wide range of products including small goods, fresh meat, poultry, seafood, dry and frozen goods, packaging, chemicals, as well as our own branded oil, flour and fries.

We deliver six days a week, with customers able to order 24/7 through our online ordering system or through our customer service team.

We are a busy and growing business and are looking for reliable people to join our warehouse team.

About the Roles

We have two positions available:

- Afternoon Shift Storeman
- Afternoon Shift Pick Packer

Both roles work across our dry, chiller and freezer areas, so you must be comfortable working in both chiller and freezer environments.

Shift & Pay

- Sunday to Friday, 4:00 pm – 12:00 am
- 5 days per week, with the possibility of additional days depending on the roster
- $37.91 per hour superannuation
- Weekend penalty rates apply where applicable

Pick Packer

As a Pick Packer, you will pick and pack customer orders and make sure everything is ready for delivery.

Main duties

- Pick customer orders accurately
- Pack orders safely and correctly
- Use RF scanners or voice picking systems
- Move and restock products around the warehouse
- Help unload incoming stock
- Check stock and report any issues
- Load orders for dispatch
- Help with stocktakes and expiry date checks
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and safe
- Assist other team members when needed

Storeman The Storeman will help keep the warehouse running smoothly. This role includes forklift work, receiving stock and moving products around the warehouse.

The Storeman will also work with the Pick Packers and assist with general warehouse duties when required.





Main duties

- Operate the forklift safely
- Unload and receive incoming stock
- Check deliveries and report any issues
- Move and organise stock around the warehouse
- Replenish shelves and storage areas
- Load orders for dispatch
- Use RF scanners or warehouse systems
- Assist with stocktakes and expiry date checks
- Help the Pick Packers when required
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and secure

About You

We are looking for people who are reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a busy warehouse.

You will need

- Previous warehouse experience (1 years) is preferred
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 25kg
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift throughout the shift
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work at a fast pace and stay organised
- RF scanning or voice picking experience is preferred

Storeman applicants must have a current forklift licence.
