Domestic Cleaner – South West & Western Sydney

Iluka is seeking reliable and caring Domestic Cleaners to provide in-home cleaning and household assistance to clients across South West Sydney and Western Sydney.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a clean, safe and comfortable home environment and enjoys working independently within the community.

About the Role

You will travel to clients’ homes and provide domestic assistance based on each client’s individual needs. Our clients may include older people, people living with disability and other members of the community who require assistance maintaining their homes.

Your duties may include

- General household cleaning
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Changing bed linen and making beds
- Laundry and light household tasks
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic home environment
- Following individual client service requirements
- Reporting any concerns relating to client safety or the home environment
- Providing respectful, professional and friendly service

- Physically able to undertake domestic cleaning duties
- Able to communicate effectively with clients and the Iluka team
- Committed to maintaining client privacy, dignity and choice




- Willing to travel between clients within their allocated area

Requirements

Applicants should have or be willing to obtain:

- National Police Check
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle and ability to travel between clients
- Appropriate Australian working rights

Previous experience in domestic cleaning, aged care, disability support, community services, housekeeping or similar work is highly regarded, although applicants with the right attitude and reliability are encouraged to apply.

Service Areas

We are currently recruiting cleaners across:

South West Sydney: Bankstown, Liverpool, Fairfield, Canterbury-Bankstown and surrounding suburbs.

Western Sydney: Parramatta, Blacktown, Cumberland, Penrith and surrounding areas.

Where possible, cleaners will be allocated clients within practical travelling distance of their preferred service area.
