Looking for a passionate Visual Art teacher to teach a small group of enthusiastic Primary students most Thursdays after school during term time.

The class is focused solely on DRAWING with some exploration of watercolour techniques.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Students aged 7-12 will enjoy improving their drawing skills in this cutting-edge class focused on stimulating kids' creativity. Students will explore:

- fun & fast drawing warm up activities just like an adult drawing class
- drawing collaborations
- drawing BIG, drawing LITTLE
- drawing from life, the imagination and limited source material
- drawing natural materials & still life set-ups
- skills focus such as 3D shading, perspective, linework, positive/negative space
- experimenting with different drawing materials: ink, charcoal, pastels, pencil

Position would suit students looking for short shifts, Mums on maternity leave or only wanting part time work,



experienced educators and artists.

Successful applicant will have

- experience teaching art to children
- confident drawing skills
- ability to inspire children's creativity & a love for working with children
- own car & licence

Responsibilities
- programming in own time (guidance provided)
- organising materials and transportation of materials each week (materials supplied)
- roll-keeping and liaising with parents
- facilitating 1.5hr lesson + clean up

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 3.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate

- Coogee NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:
- High School (Year 12) (Required)
