We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Asphalt Plant Operator (Control Room) to join our team and ensure the smooth and efficient production of asphalt for projects across WA. The position is located in Malaga however there will be times when you will be required to operate our mobile and fixed plants at different locations within WA. This position is offered as a full-time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-start checks on equipment.
- Operate asphalt plants using a computer-controlled system.
- Accurately batch asphalt mixes in line with specification requirements.
- Conduct routine maintenance on the plant and yard.
- Manage raw material orders and scheduling.
- Coordinate asphalt truck allocations for seamless operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
About You:
- Prior experience in a similar role is valued, but we will provide training for the right candidate.
- Experience with asphalt plant equipment and control room operations.
- Construction Induction (White Card) and a valid Driver’s License.
- Access to reliable transport.
- Loader tickets and High-Risk Licence (LF) are advantageous.
- Strong safety mindset, teamwork skills, and excellent communication abilities.
