JOEST Australia is looking for an experienced and proactive Assembly Tradesperson - Mechanical Fitter/sto join our growing production team on day shift. This fast-paced permanent role offers an immediate opportunity to step into a key role and make an impact in a collaborative team culture environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble, install, refurbish, repair, test and commission vibrating screens, drives and associated mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform adjustments, overhauls, repairs and maintenance to ensure equipment meets operational and quality standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and work instructions.
- Carry out precision mechanical fitting, measurement, alignment, fabrication and assembly to a high standard.
- Inspect and functionally test equipment to verify quality, performance and operational readiness.
- Safely operate forklifts, cranes, motor vehicles and other relevant plant and equipment.
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, safe and organised condition, supporting general workshop duties as required.





Qualifications and Skills:

- Trade qualification Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical. Demonstrated experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing, mining services or heavy industrial environment.
- Well-developed inter-personal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Commitment to high safety standards and support company policies.
- Current WA drivers licence.
- Desirable: Forklift licence and/or Dogman ticket.
