About The Role The NSW Government agency, responsible for managing the state's national parks estate and its commercial and tourism activities, is seeking an Assistant Business Development Officer to support the administration and regulation of commercial licences across public land. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with strong stakeholder management and commercial licensing experience to contribute to the sustainable growth of commercial and tourism activities on public land.

Key Accountabilities

- Administer and regulate commercial licences under relevant parks and wildlife legislation, including eco-tourism operator passes and filming permits.
- Coordinate approvals and build stakeholder relationships across the agency and applicants.
- Act as a primary point of contact for licence applications and related correspondence.




- Monitor and act on compliance requirements across the licensing portfolio.
- Review licence conditions, prepare draft licences for signature, and coordinate the collection, banking and follow-up of licence fees.
- Manage a reminder system for licence renewals and the provision of insurance papers and other essential documentation from operators.

Key Challenges

- Coordinating statewide program delivery that relies on timely input from dispersed stakeholders.
- Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships while ensuring compliance in a high-volume, deadline-driven workplace.
- Ensuring consistent, accurate licence assessments through robust and repeatable processes.

Essential Requirements

- Experience using Salesforce CRM.
- Experience using Content Manager.
- Commercial acumen and experience in the issue, administration and regulation of licences for commercial activities.
