/n Truckline, part of Bapcor's Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG), is seeking an Assistant Category Manager to join our Category & Product Management team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong product knowledge with commercial awareness and a passion for supporting business growth. /n Working closely with the Segment Manager, you'll help drive the performance of a key truck product segment through product ranging, supplier management, sales analysis, branch support and category development initiatives. /n

/n This is a diverse role that blends product management, supplier engagement, data analysis and branch support. /n Key responsibilities include: /n /n

- Supporting the growth and profitability of a key truck parts segment

/n

- Providing timely support to the branch network on product and technical enquiries

/n

- Assisting with stock ranging and range extension programs

/n

- Managing supplier relationships and identifying buying opportunities

/n

- Conducting competitor analysis and market research

/n

- Supporting pricing decisions and supplier price file management

/n

- Assisting with product selection and inventory decisions for Distribution Centres

/n

- Preparing monthly reports and performance analysis

/n

- Working closely with Marketing to support promotional strategies

/n

- Supporting branch range reviews and stock recommendations

- Parts Interpreter

- Senior Parts Interpreter

- Product Coordinator

/n

- Product Specialist

- Category Support Officer

- Internal Sales Specialist within the automotive aftermarket

/n /n To be successful, you'll bring: /n /n

- Automotive aftermarket, truck parts or commercial vehicle experience

/n

- Strong product knowledge and commercial awareness

/n

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

/n

- Solid Excel and reporting capability

/n

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

/n

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders

/n

- A proactive and self-motivated approach

- Experience in category management or product management

- Truck, heavy vehicle or aftermarket parts experience

/n

- Supplier management experience

/n

- MoPro ERP exposure

- EPC experience

/n

- Exposure to pricing, inventory or product ranging decisions
