We are looking for two passionate and confident Assistant Educators to join our Mambourin team, providing additional support across our KIS (Kindergarten Inclusion Support) and ISS (Inclusion Support Services) hours.
These positions will suit educators who are passionate about inclusive practice and have experience supporting children with additional or complex needs.
The Opportunity
As an Inclusion Support Assistant Educator, you will work alongside our experienced educators to create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where every child can participate, learn and develop.
You will support children across:
- Room 5: 2.5–3 years | Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
- Room 7: 3–4 years | Part-time, approximately 34 hours per week
Shift times will be discussed with successful candidates and may vary depending on the needs of the service.
About You
We are looking for educators who are strong, confident, calm and responsive, with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
You will ideally have
- Experience supporting children with additional or complex needs
- A strong understanding of inclusive practice and positive behaviour guidance
- The ability to support children's emotional regulation and respond calmly to challenging situations
- Confidence working collaboratively with families, educators and inclusion professionals
- A patient, nurturing and child-focused approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine commitment to creating an environment where every child feels included and supported
