Assistant Restaurant Manager – Italian Restaurant
Il Ritrovo is a busy Italian restaurant in Zetland, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations
- Lead and supervise the front-of-house team
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest enquiries
- Manage reservations, table allocations and functions
- Train and motivate staff
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Monitor service standards, stock and cleanliness
- Help ensure smooth coordination between the floor, bar and kitchen
What we’re looking for:
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a busy restaurant
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Qualified presentation and a hands-on attitude
- Excellent customer-service skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Current NSW RSA
- Experience in Italian restaurants and knowledge of food and wine are highly regarded
