From morning coffee to long Italian lunches, evening dining and special celebrations, Cibaria brings the energy of an Italian piazza to the Manly beachfront. It’s a large, lively venue with a team and guest experience to match.

We’re looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager who loves being on the floor, brings people together and is ready to grow into greater leadership. Working alongside the Restaurant Manager, you’ll help set the pace for service, develop the front-of-house team and make every part of the guest experience feel effortless.

The opportunity

You’ll take an active role in shaping how Cibaria runs, with the support and room to build your skills across a diverse operation. You will:

- Lead busy services with confidence, warmth and attention to detail
- Coach and develop a large front-of-house team
- Work with the kitchen and events teams to deliver group dining, functions and celebrations
- Help manage rosters, labour, stock and daily financial procedures
- Use guest feedback and venue results to find ways to improve
- Support the Restaurant Manager with planning, standards and venue performance





About you You’ve spent at least two years in an Assistant Manager or senior front-of-house leadership role and know how to get the best out of a team during a busy service. You bring strong restaurant experience, sound commercial judgment and a genuine interest in Italian food, wine and hospitality.

You’ll also have a current NSW RSA, full Australian working rights, and the flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Experience with reservations systems such as SevenRooms and with events or large group bookings will be highly regarded. Hospitality qualifications or equivalent industry experience are welcome.
