MOB Camberwell is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Venue Manager to join our team.
We’re looking for a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, delivering exceptional customer service, and helping create a great café experience.
About the role:
- Assist the Venue Manager with the day-to-day operations of MOB Camberwell
- Lead and support the team during busy service periods
- Ensure consistently high standards of customer service, coffee, food and venue presentation
- Train, coach and support team members
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Support rostering, stock control and ordering
- Monitor daily operations and help maintain smooth service
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
- Ensure food safety, workplace health and safety, and company procedures are followed
- Help create a positive and welcoming team culture
About you:
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant or hospitality management/supervisory role
- Confident leading and motivating a team
- Robust communication and organisational skills
- Customer-focused with a hands-on approach
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- High attention to detail and presentation
- Flexible availability, including weekends
- Barista experience is highly regarded
