We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Auto Electrician to join our team at Woodie Woodie on a 14:14 FIFO roster from Perth.

About The Role

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of our mining and support vehicle fleet, predominantly consisting of Caterpillar and Hitachi equipment.

Your responsibilities will include

- Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance on mining and support equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing auto electrical systems and components.
- Diagnosing and repairing air-conditioning systems on mining equipment.
- Working on Caterpillar and Hitachi mobile mining equipment.
- Applying OEM maintenance practices, procedures and technical information.
- Performing maintenance and repairs in both workshop and field environments.
- Conducting workshop maintenance and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
- Supporting the maintenance team to maximise equipment reliability and availability.
- Working safely and efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on health, safety and environmental standards.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology - Heavy, or an equivalent Australian-recognised trade qualification.
- A valid C-class driver's licence.
- A current Air Conditioning licence.
- Extensive knowledge and experience working on Caterpillar and Komatsu mining equipment.




- Demonstrated experience carrying out auto electrical repairs and diagnostics on heavy mining equipment.
- Demonstrated experience with air-conditioning repairs and maintenance on mining equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- A solid commitment to health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A current National Police Clearance, dated within the last six months, or the ability to obtain one.
- The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical.
- Valid and verifiable employment references.
