We are currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician for our Picton Workshop based in Bunbury, Western Australia. Working as part of the Auto Electrical Maintenance Team, the Auto Electrician is required to fit and maintain electrical components on mobile and fixed equipment on the Piacentini & Son fleet in a safe and operational manner. Responsibilities

- Follow all company safety, health and environmental procedures, including Job Safety Analysis plans (JSA) for all tasks.
- Present for work in a fit state to undertake electrical duties.
- Prioritise and planning of electrical maintenance tasks.
- Battery and starting system maintenance.
- Air-conditioning fitting and servicing.
- Electronic fault finding and diagnosis.




- Overhaul and repair to starter motors and alternators.
- Fitting and maintenance of engine protection equipment.
- Design and install electrical control circuits.
- Fit and repair UHF Radio and Telephone equipment and accessories.
- Identify, interpret and repair for reuse any parts and accessories.
- Complete maintenance records (DMR) for all work carried out.

About

You

- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with demonstrated experience in more than one of the following: CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu & John Deere equipment
- Trade experience in a mining or civil engineering environment on large scale equipment
- Australian recognised Trade Qualification (Auto Electrician)
- Current Drivers Licence
- Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen
